Definition
Actual billable hours attributed to each of four therapy services (physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech/language pathology, psychology), including technician and assistant time. Each of the four therapies must be collected separately. A billable hour consists of at least 50 minutes of actual therapy time (i.e., up to 10 minutes of documentation time), this would equal 60 minutes of therapy time.

Details
Record the total number of minutes of each type of intervention from admission to inpatient rehabilitation through rehabilitation discharge.
Centers which can not obtain billable hours may collect actual therapy time for each of four therapy types (and add up to 1/6 extra time for documentation). Family conference time may be included only if patient was present. Therapeutic Recreation should NOT be included.
